Consultation

The Lake Eyre Basin Aboriginal Way Map was an initiative from the Lake Eyre Basin Aboriginal Forum in 2006 held in Mount Serle. The purpose of the map is to provide a pictorial overview of the presence and significance of Aboriginal people in the Lake Eyre Basin through a single integrated image.

The Lake Eyre Basin draft consultation ‘Aboriginal Way’ Map is in the final stages of completion. The Lake Eyre Basin Aboriginal Map Steering Committee is holding information workshops in the Northern Territory, South Australia and New South Wales in May and June 2017.  The Queensland information workshop was held in October 2016.

If you have any queries or would like to provide feedback on the map please email the LEB Secretariat.
